I received my first Stitch Fix shipment a couple days ago and I couldn’t be happier. I was pulling everything out of the box and thinking, “it’s cute, but will it actually look good ON me?”
Everything came nicely packaged in a small box with a note from my stylist and these awesome style cards with great ideas on how to wear each piece.
My First Piece is this pretty blue Vallejo Double Button Henley Tank. It’s cute, comfortable and I can wear it just about anywhere. I was a little nervous when I pulled it out of the box, and considered returning it until I put it on and found that it actually fits great and looks awesome with my capris as well as my skinny jeans, plus the double buttons are just too cute. This blue top also adds color to my wardrobe which I desperately need. My pictures really don’t do this top justice.
I got this great Windsor mixed stripe wrap scarf. I’ve developed quite the scarf addiction these days. I just can’t get enough and this one goes great with a lot of my clothes that I already have.
I’m a huge fan of white and black (hence the reason there’s hardly any color in my closet) so naturally this top instantly caught my attention when I pulled it out of the box. Isn’t it a fun top?
The Myra blouse also looks great layered with this awesome Alan French Terry Asymmetrical Zip Cardigan. I’m in LOVE with this cardigan. It’s cute zipped up and it’s cute left open and it gives you two completely different looks. Plus, it’s just comfortable and thick and probably one of the most well-made cardigans I’ve ever tried on.
I asked my stylist for cute dresses for date night and she certainly delivered with this Umbria Mesh Neckline Striped Dress. I pulled this out of the box thinking “There’s NO way I can pull off this dress!” I may have been wrong. I love it! I can dress it up or dress it down and it’s surprisingly comfortable. I probably wouldn’t have picked it out for myself if I’d seen it in the store but I have to say I’m SO glad Stitch Fix sent me this and I’m so glad I tried it on. It’s a keeper!
I am so thrilled with my first Stitch Fix that I plan on keeping everything. My $20 credit for my first order and my 25% discount for buying all 5 pieces definitely made it worth it. I feel like cost wise it’s fairly similar to shopping at Macy’s but I get personalized service, everything fits amazing when I keep my style profile updated, it’s all stuff that I love since they pull ideas from my pinterest board and everything is so well-made that I know it’s going to last me a really long time. Plus now I can avoid the stress of shopping and stop wasting time searching store after store and still never finding anything that looks good on me. Where has Stitch Fix been all my life?!
Also, I need to thank my stylist, Sylvia, you’re awesome!
