Are you looking for a quick and easy Halloween treat for your upcoming events? It’s easy to make these chocolate
and caramel covered rice krispies treats.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Cakepop sticks (I found these great black and orange Wilton pop sticks at Walmart)
- Caramel Candies
- Rice Krispies Treats
- Dipping Chocolate
- Candy Eyeballs (I used Wilton)
- Wax Paper
Lay your wax paper down on the counter, spray lightly with a baking release spray. Insert cake pop sticks into your rice krispie treats. Melt your caramel candies down and dip your treats into the caramel, covering with a thin layer, stand up on the wax paper and let sit until caramel is slightly hardened. Melt your chocolate wafers down and dip your treats into the chocolate. Let sit and cool for about 10 minutes before placing the eyes onto the treats. Cool in the refrigerator to help set the chocolate and eyes. You may want to check on them after a minute to make sure the eyes haven’t slid so you can readjust if needed.
