My whole family loves MARVEL superheroes but the biggest fan in my family is my 9 year old son. He’s begged us to watch every MARVEL movie in the theater and has his favorites but they change daily. Some days he’s all about Hulk and some days he’s all about Captain America. He reads all the books, comic books, and has super hero toys and costumes. When we found out that MARVEL granola bars were hitting the shelves in Target my little guy was over the moon excited!
So, my son and I loaded up… that’s code for we went to Target and bought THREE boxes. Seriously, I did. Simply because they’re MARVEL and I don’t want to run out! I knew he’d love these for his lunches, after school snacks, and if I’m being honest they’re great to carry in my purse when I’m in a rush but need a quick and easy snack. They come in my two favorite flavors, chocolate chip and peanut butter. These are also bigger than a lot of granola bars I’ve purchased in the past. These MARVEL Super Hero Snack Bars are actually 40% bigger.
The MARVEL granola bars have 6 awesome wrappers including Captain America, Hulk, Spider Man, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Thor. I was only able to find 5 so we’re still on the hunt for Captain America. Anyways, on each box you’ll also find collector cards featuring Hulk, Iron Man, Hawk Eye, and Spider Man so my son loves them and wants to collect them all.
If you’re heading into to Target, these granola bars are perfect to stock up on for after school snack time, lunches, adding into those awesome super hero goody bags for your next birthday party, and they’re perfect for the next time you’re in charge of bringing a snack for your child’s sports team practices or games.
Super Hero Lunch Ideas & Inspiration
If your children love MARVEL superheroes they’ll love these awesome lunch ideas. I used a medium star cookie cutter for the meat and cheese to serve with crackers, small letter cutters and a small star cutter for the carrot stars. If you cut your children’s vegetables into cool shapes they’re definitely going to eat them, no questions asked. Add a super cool Spider-Man Granola bar and you just can’t go wrong.
And a Hulk inspired lunch with mini turkey and cheese tortilla sandwiches, cheese cut-outs that say “boom!” and lots of green and healthy options. These two super hero lunch ideas are sure to be a huge hit with your children!
