This Christmas spread the love with a fun gift basket. I have lots of ideas for making that gift basket extra special including this bright and fun Coca-Cola gift basket idea with a diy chalkboard painted serving tray, Coca-Cola in glass bottles, some cute mason jar glasses (in case they want to turn those Cokes into Coke floats), a framed 4×6 printable “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” sign, some homemade chocolate chip cookies, and some red and white paper straws tied together with a pretty green bow.
Whether you’re making a gift basket for friends, a neighbor, or your spouse, I have you covered with 3 different (and free) printable gift tags. You can DOWNLOAD HERE. There’s a basic To and From gift tag, one that says, “Merry Christmas… from your favorite neighbors”, and another for gift-giving to that special someone in your life that says, “Darling, as long as you love me so, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Merry Christmas.”
I created our gift basket for some of our neighbors. To make my gift basket I started by heading to Target and picking up some cute holiday Share a Coke glass bottles but they also have some fun holiday aluminum bottles that you might like even more.
Seriously, aren’t these the cutest? They say things like “Share a Coke with Someone Nice”, Share a Coke with Elves”, and Share a Coke with your “Secret Santa.” If you need a little chuckle there’s even one that says, “Share a Coke with Someone Naughty.”
To create our neighbor gift basket I used:
- 4 Share a Coke Holiday glass bottles
- Homemade chocolate chip cookies
- Glass mason jar mugs
- Paper straws
- A hand-painted diy chalkboard tray. This was so easy to make. I just purchased a plain unfinished wooden tray and painted the entire thing with a small bottle of black chalkboard paint. It’s perfect for writing messages on and serving Coke and snacks on.
- A 4×6 black frame for my “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” printable that you can DOWNLOAD HERE
- A cute basket that can be reused by the recipient
Check out the Coca-Cola Holiday Pinterest page for more gift ideas, printables, and even some fun ways to reuse the glass and aluminum bottles.
